In the service of shameless self-promotion...an Errata News update:
I had a great time at PhotoLA where the Errata books were very well received. It was a pleasure to connect with so many people including: Alan Valencia, Lawrence Barth, Jim Goldberg, Larry Sultan, Ken Schles, Oliver Woods, Steve Klug, Todd Hido, Chris Pichler, Bertrand Fleuret, Mike Slack, Charlotte Cotton, Mark Forker, Christianne Dearborn, Andy Adams, Andrew Hetherington, Susan Burnstine, Ed Templeton, Ray Barbee, Alex Worman, Leslie Awender, Eric Greco, Lee Kaplan, Amber Terranova, Paul Berlanga, Dan Shepherd, Susan Ehrens and many, many more. Thank you to all who bought books and supported not only Errata but Schaden.com.
I owe a huge thank you to Markus and Nina of the Schaden crew who made the trip a blast even though they refused to let me go swimming in the heated pool at their luxury digs in the Hills. Schaden.com in Germany now has a healthy stock of the Errata books so if that's your local store, go get 'em.
The series is also now available at The Strand Bookstore in New York City and they are priced at $31.95 which is 20% off list price. That is damn near what I originally wanted the books to cost in the planning stages so take advantage. The Strand Bookstore is at 12th street and Broadway in Manhattan.
The Strand Bookstore will also be hosting a launch party event for Errata Editions on February 19th. Present will be Chris Killip (In Flagrante) and John T. Hill (American Photographs) for a book signing. Stay tuned for more info as the date draws closer.
We are also proud to have been named on three Photoeye Magazine "Best Books of 2008" lists by Martin Parr, Gerry Badger and Andrew Phelps.
Errata books were also four of the ten bestsellers at Photoeye Bookstore for the week ending 01-09-2009
The limited editions are down to about 40 sets in case there are any fence-sitters out there biding their time. Once they're gone, they're gone for good.
